    • Obtained summary judgment for three closely-held corporations on a multi-million dollar claim brought by alleged minority shareholder for breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and misrepresentation. Summary judgment was affirmed on appeal by Nebraska Supreme Court. Jardine v. McVey, 276 Neb. 1023 N.W.2d 690.

    • Obtained dismissal of landowner’s multi-million dollar suit alleging nuisance, trespass, intentional infliction of emotional distress, recovery of real property and permanent injunction.

    • Successfully defended numerous employers on various employment claims, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA and retaliation.

    • Assists hospitals and physicians with medical staff discipline, credentialing, investigations and corrective action proceedings before administrative agencies.

    • Successfully defended a national banking association on a threatened eviction and termination of a land lease.

    • Obtained declaratory judgment for an insurer based upon a loss elimination amendment excluded coverage for the requested benefits. Affirmed on appeal. Veseley v. National Travelers Life Company, 12 Neb. App. 622, 682 N.W.2d 713.

    • Assists employers, both insured and self-insured, with workers’ compensation audits, compliance and regulatory matters in Nebraska, Missouri and Kansas.

    • Obtained judgment against a policyholder of a multi-million dollar major medical insurance contract on the basis of fraud and misrepresentation.

    • Contributing editor to Defense Research Institute on Nebraska products liability law

    • Featured speaker on a wide array of topics including employment, workers’ compensation and HIPAA-related issues
