Scott Meyerson has been in private practice since 1994 and has extensive experience serving as general counsel to local and regional closely held and family-owned businesses. He regularly advises clients on entity formation and governance, corporate and contract law, business succession planning, and secured credit transactions, with a particular focus on practical, business-oriented solutions.

Scott’s transactional practice includes a broad range of asset and stock acquisitions and sales, mergers, and reorganizations involving corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. He frequently represents sellers and closely held business owners in negotiated transactions and works closely with clients and their advisors to structure deals in a tax-efficient and commercially sensible manner.

Scott also has substantial experience representing developers, property owners, purchasers, and tenants in connection with real estate development projects, leasing matters, and complex real estate transactions. His real estate practice includes acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, ground leases, financing, and development-related agreements, and he regularly advises clients on the intersection of real estate and corporate structuring.

Throughout his practice, Scott is known for his pragmatic approach, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex transactions while keeping client objectives front and center.
